JOB TITLE: HANDYMAN / WOMAN
REPORTS TO: Property & Facilities Manager
JOB LOCATION: Covering Properties : Limerick / Clare / Tipperary
SALARY DETAILS: DOE
JOB PURPOSE:
* To work as part of a staff team in Mid-West Simon Community.
* To act as General Handyman/Woman in the maintenance and upkeep of
Mid West Simon Properties
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Upkeep and General Care and maintenance of MW Simon Properties
* Carry out various minor building repairs e.g Painting , Carpentry
, window and door repairs , unblocking drains , installing appliances
& minor plumbing repairs .
* Landscaping duties to include tidying , cleaning , power washing &
spraying of weeds etc
* Window Cleaning etc.
* Testing of Fire Alarms ? Training will be provided.
* Periodic checks on properties ? Training will be provided.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
* Must be dependable and hard working
* Manual Handling Cert & Safe Pass required.
* A general knowledge of Health and safety.
* Competent Construction knowledge
* Understanding in the area of homelessness
* Full Drivers Licence Required
